Hiring Administrative Assistant

Kenmore Design is seeking for a quick learner to fill an Administrative Assistant position in a growing startup environment. This is an entry-level full time position where you will learn as you go and will receive training/coaching from colleagues. The responsibilities may include:

+ Maintaining accounts receivable / payable records (basic, no experience needed)
+ Maintaining client records (basic, no experience needed)
+ Enforcing service payments (basic, no experience needed)
+ Assistance in Client Proposal preparation and ongoing improvements
+ Making changes and amendments to marketing materials
+ Coordinating content updates efforts
+ Maintaining internal knowledge-base
+ Creating and maintaining documentation for offered products and services
+ Making travel and office outing/activities arrangements
+ Organizing and maintaining files and mail
+ Maintaining office supplies inventory, anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies

Here is the most VITAL requirements:

+ Excellent English written/verbal skills
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to learn and collaborate (we are looking for a friend)
+ Strong Internet research skills
+ Strong word-processing skills (MS Office / iWork suites)
+ Strong general computer skills

In addition the having the following skills / background / experience will improve your resume:

+ Knowledge of a second language / bi-lingual is a plus but not a requirement. Don’t forget to mention it on your resume!
+ Mention any web-related skills (CMS / HTML / Wiki / Blogging / Social Media / SEO / etc)
+ Basic knowledge of Photoshop
+ Associate Degree is desired but not required

To summarize the above, we are looking for a quick-learner with excellent English and computer skills, who has interest in entering/continuing joining the fast-paced Web/IT startup environment while presenting an easy-going/friendly personality and desire for the autonomous/no-micro-management work.
